Who we are
Investing Copilot is run by [owner name / company], [contact email]. This explains what we collect and why.
What we collect
- Account details: your email and name, from our sign-in provider (WorkOS).
- What you enter: your country, account names and types, holdings, cash, settings, notes and any Discord webhook URL.
- What you create: research reports, trade plans, paper trades and glossary terms you add.
- Usage: how many AI requests you make each day, so we can apply daily limits.
- If you add your own AI key, we store it encrypted and only show its last four characters.
How it's used
To run the app for you. Text you send for AI features (for example a stock ticker, a question, or a screenshot you upload) is sent to an AI provider to produce the answer: our provider, or the one you chose if you use your own key. We do not sell your data and we do not use it for advertising.
Who else sees it
- WorkOS (sign-in), [hosting provider] (servers), the AI provider(s) described above, and market-data sources for prices (only tickers are sent).
- The site operator can see account and usage data to run and support the service.
Your choices
In Settings, under Your data, you can download everything we hold about you as a JSON file, or delete your account. Deleting removes your data and reports. [Describe backup retention here.]
Cookies
We use a sign-in session cookie and small preference cookies (such as sidebar state). No advertising or tracking cookies.
